The Pearl Izumi Elite Softshell Jacket is destined to change your opinion on winter riding. The Softshell membrane is constructed of a wind and waterproof laminate that is sandwiched between a soft outer knit and a Thermal Fleece inner lining. This low-bulk construction gives you protection from the elements, warmth, and plenty of stretch for freedom of movement. For added warmth, the sleeves are shaped to cover the front of your hands (this also prevents the sleeves from bunching), a draft flap is placed under the front zip to block penetrating winds, and the collar is contoured to cover your neck in the cycling position. The jacket is cut to a semi-form fit and features a pocket on the back and chest.
