The Giordana Laser Jacket cannot be summed up in a lazy acronym. Giordana's lightest and most windproof/water repellant material, HD44, comprises most of the shell. It is constructed of three micro-layers: a tightly-woven and aerodynamic outer shield, a windproof middle membrane, and a soft pile layer. The three layer design covers all of the bases to ensure that the jacket protects you from winter weather, but also feels comfortable next to your skin. To ensure that the aggressive, form-fit will move with your body, the back is made of two thermal fabric panels that stretch like typical lycra.
