Very warm and not too bulky, these get tons of use in the winter. They are somewhat thicker than regular summer socks but easily add 8-10deg of warmth to your winter shoe/bootie/sock combo.

Tall cuffs ensure you get plenty of overlap with your tights. Not at all itchy, even when your feet get sweaty.

One minor thing to keep in mind: These are so warm and comfy you will be tempted to use this for non-cycling uses. Don't. The knitting isn't durable enough to withstand the wear of daily walking and they will quickly wear through at the heel and ball. These will last a few winters though if you limit them only to cycling use.
