Let me start by saying I love these shoe covers. They are my favorite shoe covers ever -- EVAH!
Why do I love them? Because I HATE big baggy booties. These are tight, slim, and warm enough for the upper 30s and 40s. There is no excess material hanging off of these, no floppy cleat opening, and they articulate very nicely thanks to the stretchy material in front of the ankle and along the back.
Having said that, note that these are not made for truly cold weather. I've found their comfort range goes from the mid-30s to about 50, depending on the type of socks you wear. They will protect from light road spray but are not waterproof.
While they aren't a true winter bootie, they get tons of use in the early spring and late fall, as well as periodic use in winter if the temps get above freezing. In a 15degree band from 35 to 50: These are the best things you can put on your feet.
