Capo Bib Shorts Informaiton
When Gary Vasconi and Robert Carbone created Capo cycling apparel, they set out to build garments that look unique and are technical enough to be put through the paces by cycling fanatics. Rather than just making individual pieces of bike clothing, Capo makes fully matching kits, bringing the experience of “getting kitted up” to the forefront. Bib shorts are, of course, a crucial piece of any cycling kit!
Capo bib shorts have been tested and approved by racers and recreational riders, including the nine employees of the Capo company, who ride together twice a week on lunch breaks. Whether you are into Euro-style pizazz or a more subtle, basic black look, Capo bibs will suit your fancy. The finest moisture-wicking fabrics are laid out in multi-paneled patterns that follow your muscle groups for excellent freedom of movement. Silver ions and carbon threads are integrated into the weave of certain materials to provide antibacterial (read: anti-odor) and UV protection. Mesh bib straps, and on Capo women’s bib shorts, a completely mesh bib upper, are breathable under your jersey and soft next to the skin. Leg hems on Capo shorts are either the typical silicone gripper design, or a newer wide leg band that gently compresses the quads.
The chamois inserts that have been chosen for Capo cycling bibs have been crafted in Italy for more than a decade. They use the latest in chamois technology, including anti-microbial micro-fibers, silver-ion threads, and carbon threads to keep your saddle area feeling fresh. The elastic chamois pads have varying densities and are anatomically shaped, so they mold to your body and conform to every jump or shift.
When you suit up in your Capo bibs and Capo jersey, be ready for other cyclists to snap their heads around and look. Also, be prepared for an extremely comfortable day in the saddle!
