I stopped telling my friends how much I pay for my cycling apparel. They can't believe I would spend that kind of money. But they don't set on a tea cup for several hours at time either. You always get what you pay for and with these bibs you get the most comfortable ride ever. The chamois is a little to thick for me but it's not a show stopper. I have several pair of bibs and the two I use over and over again are the Gore Xenon Sonic and these S5's. I like the wider bib straps on the S5. They also make me look better than I really am and that alone gives more incentive to ride. Pay the extra price and you will thank the great and powerful Assos.
