Arm Warmers Information
Just think of what life would be like if we no longer had to make the short sleeve versus long sleeve jersey decision. Wait -- portable sleeves already exist! Arm warmers are truly one of the most practical inventions to hit the cycling apparel scene. They are basically tubes of stretchy fabric that pull over the arms. The top hem tucks underneath a short sleeve jersey and usually has an elastic gripper that helps it stay put. If you get hot, all you do is pull them down around your wrists or stuff them into a back pocket. Thinner, moisture-wicking lycra arm warmers will fend off a chill when the weather is slightly cool. Lightweight, white colored sleeves can even be worn to protect the skin from sun. Thicker, insulated arm warmers trap heat with a brushed interior, and sometimes feature water resistant or windproof panels. Cycling arm warmers are such a brilliant idea, we’re really not sure why they haven’t permeated off-the-bike life!
