That’s right – Roadie is taking to the road in a ’79 VW Bus, referred to as Greta, in search for the perfect ride. Starting on the 14th of July, the dream will become a reality. Roadie will begin the 3-month trek in Indianapolis, where Indie Bike is located, and will cover the East Coast and Midwest region, going from one cycling event to the next.

The Tour begins in Indiana at the RAIN ride on July 14th and will come to a close in Indiana at the Hilly Hundred on October 14th. The details for each stop can been seen on the calendar of events. The places Roadie will stop in between will look something like this:

Event Participation:
As much fun as it would be to ride in every single event we’ll be attending, we’ve got to get the word out about Indie Bike. You’ll find Roadie volunteering the bus as a SAG vehicle, selling cycling apparel in a “vendor tent” atmosphere, setting up a display of who we are and we’re doing, hanging out before and after the ride, and just being a presence amongst our potential customers.
The weekdays between the weekend events will be used by Roadie to check out the local cycling scene in whatever part of the country he may be in. If you live in the area around one of the events Roadie will be attending, you may see him mixed in with the other riders.
