Whereas in the past, any incorporating of airBlock material always meant a reduction in elasticity and hence fit, the airProtec's kneezone is designed to make you forget that your knees are airBlock protected. Assos has also redesigned the patternzone behind your knees.
The Assos solution is pretty sharp, eliminating the overlock seam on the back of your knee which can cause irritation. This tight is designed for high frequency, no restriction pedalling. Made out of the Assos roubaix material and featuring the new comfort zip technique (c.z.t.). Instead of the zip being applied underneath the garment, it is being placed on top. This results in a smoother inner zip surface and nicer finish.
The airProtec comes standard with FI.Mille elastic insert. It is warmer then a regular roubaix tight and a bit cooler then the airBlock.LL, perfect for fall and early winter riding.
Ideal for temperatures between 43 and 54 degrees.
