| Vermarc cycling apparel was started by ex-pro racer, Frans Verbeek, the year after his professional career came to an end in 1977. The cycling apparel was first created when Verbeek partnered with Italian clothing manufacturer Santini, and then in 1988 Verbeek went on his own under the name Vermarc Sport. Today, Vermarc clothing is made with a serious cyclist in mind, by those who take cycling seriously.
